Introduction

The RE-431-D Power Quality and Energy Analyzer (hereinafter also referred to as the "Analyzer" or the "Product") is an instrument designed for the continuous monitoring of three-phase electrical parameters and for the analysis of power quality disturbances.

Thanks to its compact DIN-rail format and its power supply derived directly from the measurement line, the analyzer is an extremely versatile solution, suitable both for real-time measurement and for long-term recording for diagnostic or management purposes.

Available variants

The main variants of the RE-431-D series, identical in measurement functions and differing only in communication interfaces, are:

ModelAdditional communication
RE-431-DWi-Fi, Bluetooth LE, Modbus TCP
RE-431-D-RS485The above + Modbus RTU over RS485 interface
RE-431-D-LWThe above + LoRaWAN connectivity

The complete list of variants and interfaces is provided in the Technical Specifications page. Unless otherwise stated, the information in this manual applies to all variants.

Main functional features

  • Measurement of three-phase electrical parameters: voltage, current, active/reactive/apparent power, power factor, frequency and THD
  • Active, reactive and apparent energy counters, distinguishing imported from exported energy, both total and per phase
  • Detection of power quality events (voltage dips and momentary overvoltages – Dip & Swell) with date and time
  • Overvoltage and overcurrent alerts shown on the display
  • Three-phase voltage measurement inputs plus neutral (N)
  • 4 current measurement inputs for 3 phases and neutral
  • Power supply from 90 VAC to 300 VAC
  • 2-inch color display with built-in configuration menu
  • NTP time synchronization
  • Wi-Fi / Bluetooth LE connectivity (LoRaWAN on the dedicated variant)
  • Data sent to the cloud via MQTT/MQTTs and access through the Web Dashboard
  • Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU (RS485) interfaces for integration with supervision systems
  • Over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates
  • Internal storage for data and energy counters
